“At 28 years old, I felt a lump in my breast while taking a shower. I was healthy and had no known family history of breast cancer, yet knew this lump wasn’t the norm for me. After being told I was too young for cancer, I trusted my intuition, asked for additional testing, and was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer. Since my diagnosis, I’ve co-founded The Breasties, and we’ve made it our mission to educate and empower all individuals to know their risk, to know their bodies, and to advocate for themselves.”
