Harper Wilde - Director of Growth Marketing

Location: Remote  Reports to: Founder & CEO Type: Full-time


The Role

Harper Wilde is looking for a Director of Growth Marketing to own the paid acquisition function across eComm and Amazon. This is a hands-on role, supported by agencies, freelancers, and cross-functional partners. As the primary person accountable for paid acquisition P&L, you’ll need to be deeply engaged with channel strategy, media performance, and budget allocations. What You'll Own

Paid Media Oversight

  • Own the overarching strategy and budget across core paid media channels.
  • Manage spend and allocation against defined ROAS and CAC targets.
  • Oversee key agency relationships as the primary point of contact.

Creative Strategy

  • Drive the creative pipeline: briefs, concepts, sourcing, and iteration.
  • Ensure creative output is consistent, effective, and on-brand.
  • Build and maintain a testing framework, inclusive of landing pages.

Agency & Vendor Management

  • Manage relationships with paid media, creative, and any other external partners.
  • Hold agencies accountable to success metrics and know when to push.
  • Run weekly syncs, ensure timely deliverables, and maintain a clear feedback loop.

Cross-functional Partnership

  • Partner with Digital to ensure a seamless on-site journey for paid traffic.
  • Collaborate with Lifecycle Marketing on audiences and retention strategies.
  • Work with Brand and Planning leads on product and promotional calendar.
  • Move in lockstep with Finance regarding forward-looking budget and targets.


What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years in a Growth or Performance role managing holistic media budgets.
  • Deep understanding of the paid media ecosystem (Google, Meta, TikTok, Snap).
  • Strong analytical background, seen in data-driven decision-making.
  • Track record of growing paid acquisition in a DTC or eComm environment.
  • Excellent project management instincts and ability to deliver on tight deadlines.
  • Understanding of creative strategy, including best practices per channel.
  • Experience sourcing and managing agencies and external vendors.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in digitally native consumer brands that are majority eCommerce.
  • Understanding of omni-channel impact of paid media (Amazon, Wholesale).
  • Experience scaling a brand from $10M to $50M+ in DTC revenue.
